MARCUS BAD INTENTIONS EDWARDS FACES TOUGHEST TEST YET
Clinch Gear athlete Marcus “Bad Intentions” Edwards faces his toughest test yet as a professional mixed martial artist this Saturday June 29th at the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, CO. His opponent is former UFC fighter and winner of The Ultimate Fighter reality show tournament winner Efrain Escudero. Escudero is a veteran of seven UFC fights and currently trains with UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson at the MMA Lab. It’s clear that Escudero will have experience on his side, but Escudero is coming off four consecutive losses all to top level fighters in the lightweight division while Edwards comes into this fight riding a four fight win streak and all of the momentum in the world.
Edwards’ last fight was a buzz saw win over former Ultimate Fighter contestant Dakota Cochrane which saw Edwards finish the fight via a first round rear naked choke. With a win over Escudero, Edwards may earn a shot in the UFC later this year. Good luck to Marcus “Bad Intentions” Edwards on his fight at the Greeley Stampede this weekend!
