Nascar’s Jeffrey Earnhardt Wins in MMA debut

This past Tuesday, Clinch Gear sponsored undefeated pro fighter Blaine Thomas and Nascar’s Jeffrey Earnhardt at Fight Lab 25. Earnhardt, a 4th Generation NASCAR driver and Grandson of Legendary Champion Dale Earnhardt, impressed the crowd with a unanimous decision win over Chris Faison. Earnhardt showed veteran resolve in controlling the action and going for submissions against the more experienced Faison. Also on the card was Clinch Gear sponsorsed fighter Blaine Thomas who engaged in a battle of submission attempts with Drew Kennedy. In the first round Thomas nearly ended the fight with a tight armbar which Kennedy refused to tap to then somehow escaped. In the end it was Kennedy who finished the fight in the second round with an armbar of his own. Fight Lab 25 took place in conjunction with Nascar’s Speed Week and Clinch Gear is proud to have sponsored both Earnhardt and Thomas.
