Clinch Gear fighters Nick Honstein and Sid Bice were victorious last weekend at Sparta Combat League’s Lords of the Legion event. In the main event “Quick” Nick Honstein made quick work of Josh Mercado by dominating the fight and ending it at 2:25 in the first round by rear naked choke. With the win Honstein improves to 14-7 as a professional and is one of the 125lb division’s top prospects. Wrestling standout Sid Bice also made quick work of his opponent by defeating Anthony Sessions at 2:26 in the first round by TKO due to strikes. With the win Bice keeps his perfect record intact at 4-0 (2-0 Pro, 2-0 Amateur) and climbs the ladder in MMA’s stacked 125lb division. Congratulations to both fighters!
