SDFNL 2013 ALL STAR GAME RECAP

Clinch Gear was a proud sponsor of the 2013 SDFNL Red & Blue All Star Game which took place Dec 28th, and what a game it was! While most post season exhibition games are low scoring affairs due to the offense not having time to practice together, this game had no shortage of scoring opportunities with the teams combining for 60 total points. In a game that saw the National (Red) team stage a late comeback, it was John Todd’s 35 yrd, diving, game winning touchdown catch with only 7 seconds remaining that sealed the deal for the American (White) team. The touchdown capped off a magical day for Todd who recorded 8 receptions for 217 yrds and 4 touchdowns. Todd was awarded MVP honors and perhaps even more memorable he accomplished all of this on his 18th birthday!
